Four work-streams, one campaign.
Hypersilk runs four Web3 growth work-streams for Chinese-speaking markets. Most clients engage on all four. Each is listed here with scope, platforms, and deliverable shape — campaign architecture reflects what actually moves on-chain behaviour in China, not a template.
KOL Campaigns
Chinese Key Opinion Leaders drive a disproportionate share of retail attention and allocation decisions across crypto in Greater China. The tier structure is real, the price-per-view is wildly variable, and the conversion behavior is specific to audience segment. We run KOL campaigns end-to-end — strategy, selection, briefing, scripting, placement, and measurement.
Segmentation
KOLs are selected against four axes: chain (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Sui, TON, BNB Chain, L2s), platform (X, WeChat, Binance Square, Bilibili, Douyin, YouTube CN-speaking), audience segment (retail traders, degen, institutional-adjacent, builder), and historical conversion from prior campaigns we've either run or verified.
Formats
- Scripted posts with disclosed sponsorship
- Editorial coverage and independent thesis posts
- Video interviews and long-form explainers
- Live spaces and AMAs — often co-hosted with a media partner
- Sequenced waves timed to launch, TGE, or narrative windows
What you get
A written campaign plan with KOL roster, platform mix, formats, post schedule, and measurement framework. Weekly delivery updates. Post-campaign report with reach, engagement, qualitative read-through, and on-chain attribution where instrumentable.
Tier-1 Media Placement
Chinese crypto media is a discrete ecosystem with its own tier structure, its own editorial conventions, and its own relationship between commercial coverage and genuine editorial. We place at the tier-1 outlets where narrative is set, not the long tail where it's echoed.
Primary media roster
- PANews — daily news, research, feature interviews
- Foresight News — narrative-driven, research-forward
- Odaily — news and in-depth feature coverage
- ChainCatcher — research and commentary
- BlockBeats — news, interviews, and editorial
- Wu Blockchain — investigative and breaking news
- Binance Square CN — creator and exchange-native distribution
Placement types
Sponsored feature articles. Editorial interviews. Launch-day coordinated coverage across multiple outlets. Long-form sponsored research. AMA and Space partnerships. Translation, localization, and syndication of English-market announcements where the original framing doesn't port cleanly.
What you get
Outlet shortlist based on your category and narrative. Pitch and placement negotiation. Editorial coordination. Draft review and Chinese copywriting. Publication and distribution. Coverage report with outlet, byline, date, URL, reach signal, and narrative placement assessment.
Community Activation
Chinese crypto community lives on different platforms than the English-speaking Web3 world. Telegram and X exist in China-adjacent form, but the centre of gravity is WeChat groups, Binance Square, and — increasingly — Xiaohongshu for the younger retail segment. We build and activate across all of them.
Platforms
- WeChat — private groups, official accounts, channel posts, mini-programs
- Binance Square CN — creator-led content and exchange-integrated distribution
- Xiaohongshu — for lifestyle-adjacent and younger retail segments
- Telegram — Chinese-speaking Telegram channels and supergroups
- X (Chinese-speaking) — Chinese Twitter, frequently a gateway for expat and Taiwan/HK audiences
Activities
Native moderation and community ops. Content seeding calibrated to platform. AMAs in Chinese with KOL or exchange partners. Incentivised quest campaigns (Galxe, TaskOn, native alternatives). Long-form educational threads. Narrative consistency across surfaces.
What you get
Community architecture document. Platform-by-platform activation plan. Ongoing native moderation during the engagement. Monthly reporting on growth, engagement quality, and sentiment.
Event Activation
APAC conference season is where Chinese-speaking crypto makes and breaks relationships. We run side events, booth activations, hackathons, and invite-only dinners at the moments and cities that matter.
Anchor events
- Token2049 Singapore
- Hong Kong FinTech Week
- Consensus Hong Kong
- Taipei Blockchain Week
- ETHCC and Devcon satellite events (where APAC attendance is meaningful)
- Chinese builder meetups — Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu
Formats
Full side event production (venue, programming, speakers, F&B, AV). Booth design and operation. Invite-only dinners and closed-door roundtables. Hackathon sponsorship, judging, and KOL presence. Speaker placement and topic coordination with organizers.
What you get
Event strategy and slate recommendation. Venue, supplier, and speaker negotiation. On-site execution with Chinese-speaking staff. Post-event recap with attendance, qualified-lead list, and press coverage bundle.
